What insurance companies is The Natural Order Registered with?
BUPA, AXA, AVIVA, VITALITY, CIGNA, NUFFIELD HEALTH, HEALIX, THE PHYSIOTHERAPY NETWORK, MSK NETWORK.
What durations and costs are insurance appointments.
A new insurance appointment duration varies but can range from 45 to 60 minutes depending on your provider.
A follow up appointment for an insurance duration varies but can range from 30 to 45 minutes depending on your provider.
The cost of appointments varies on your provider and the contract we have signed with your provider.
Our general physiotherapy appointment costs for non-insurance patients range from £47-£70. The appointment duration, ranges from 30 to 60 mins for non-insurance patients.
How do I know if my insurance will cover my physiotherapy sessions?
Step 1: Prior to booking an appointment we recommend that you call your insurance provider to check.
Step 2: Obtain authorisation for your physiotherapy sessions.
Step 3: Provide us with your membership number and pre-authorisation code.
Step 4: Confirm and inform us of the number of sessions you have been permitted.

How do I book an appointment once authorised by insurance providers.
It is not typically necessary to contact the clinic when booking an appointment.
If you would like some additional information, we recommended you read the clinics general FAQ’s before contacting clinic.
Booking online is recommended, all patients using an insurance provider should book for an Initial insurance appointment for either a new or existing patient.

How do I know if I will have an excess with my insurance provider?
We recommend you call your insurance provider to ask.
This is something that you agreed to when you entered your policy.
You will be able to view your excess via your insurance providers online portal or mobile app.
Your excess will be stated by your provider; however, some insurance providers will take this payment when a new case has been authorised.
Whilst others expect you to pay the clinic, which we will process on your first appointment via the payment terminal.
Your excess covers the course of authorised treatment, whether that is 5 or 20 appointments.
Will I be expected to pay a top up fee after my appointment?
Some insurance providers such as WPA will pay a proportion of your treatment cost.
Once we have submitted an invoice an additional top up payment may be needed.
This will be charge on the following appointment.
Each insurance company has differing payment terms, so it may that there is a delay in charging our end, but all is available to view via your online portal and app.
Can I begin a course of treatment and then reclaim costs retrospectively?
We do not permit retrospective reimbursement.
If you would like to use your insurance to pay for treatment at the clinic, this can only begin once authorised by insurance. Please consider this when booking.
Will my insurance cover any appointments that I fail to attend or cancel within 24 hours?
No, unfortunately your insurance provider does not cover any appointments that you cancelled/did not attend.
Our cancellation policy is available on our website and embedded into your appointment reminder or confirmation.
If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, we will contact you to pay a charge of 50% of cost of appointment- this is your personal responsibility.
If you do not attend an appointment, we will contact you to charge the full cost of the missed appointment – this is your personal responsibility.
You will not be able to re-book until this payment is made.
